Two weeks post partum


These pictures were actually taken on 7/3. It is very hard to find time to blog. Did I mention I just had a baby two weeks ago? We are starting to get a better routine down, thanks to the book Baby Wise.  I recommend this book to anyone with an infant or a toddler! It is a life saver.  It makes life with a newborn so much easier.  And hopefully Joel will be sleeping through the night by 8 weeks like Jack:) We did not know about this book when I had Jeremiah. He was still waking up in the night at one.  Anyway, back to weight loss.  I have lost a total of 22 lbs.  The weight loss has slowed down dramatically!  4th of July killed me! I ate way too many non primal foods, sodas and snacks.  So I went to the grocery store yesterday and stocked up on all kinds of fresh foods.  I made some homemade salsa and homemade ranch yesterday.  I also made some chicken poppers for dinner last night! Breathtaking! I am hoping I can pick up the weight loss again now that 4th of July is over and things are starting to settle down a bit.  My ultimate goal is still to lose 38 lbs by September 24.  16 more pounds to go! I am hoping to have the recipes for chicken poppers, ranch and salsa later tonight.  Can't make any promises though!
